ROK’s subscription-based video streaming and download service for mobile phones is launched by MTNL in India

London 30^th March 2010: ROK Entertainment Group, the UK-based mobile technology, applications and services company, has today announced the launch of ROK’s mobile video service, “iPlayer”, with leading telecom services provider MTNL in India.

Priced at Rs 30.00 per month (approximately £0.45p), subscribers are able to receive, streamed or for download, up to 90 video clips per month to include live breaking news, daily astrology predictions, Bollywood news, Bollywood music, sports news, comics and comedy clips on their mobile phones by visiting http://mtnl.rokd.tv

MTNL have begun promoting the ROK iPlayer service to their 2 Million customer base in Mumbai in the first phase through SMS promotions on a daily basis.
